QS World ranking has announced the list of top universities in the world. According to QS world ranking 2021, 7 Pakistani universities could rank in top 1000 universities of the world. Many Pakistani universities improved their ranking from the previous year. NUST topped the list from Pakistan and is ranked at #355. NUST has improved its ranking by 45 places from the previous year.
PIEAS, previously ranked Pakistan's No 1 University, now ranks at Number 2 in Pakistan with an overall ranking position of 373 in world universities. PIEAS improved its ranking by 2 places. Quaid-e-Azam University is ranked at number 3 in Pakistan and at number 454 overall. QAU improved its ranking by 57 places. Previously QAU was ranked at 511 in the world.
LUMS ranked number 4 in Pakistan and in 651-700 positions in the world. LUMS also improved its ranking from the previous year. COMSATS, UET, and University of the Punjab are ranked in the 801-1000 list. COMSATS, UET, and university of the Punjab were previously ranked in the same places in QS world Ranking 2020.
