Islamabad, January 21 — A major career counseling seminar was held at Islamabad Model College for Girls F-6/2 (IMCG F-6/2) under the auspices of Eduvision Career Counseling, bringing together senior education officials, academic leaders, and hundreds of students to promote structured career guidance for young learners in the federal capital.
Addressing the gathering, the Director General of the Federal Directorate of Education, Mr. Syed Junaid Akhlaq, delivered a powerful message that resonated throughout the hall: “Every single child will now be shown the path to success.” His remarks reflected a renewed institutional commitment to ensuring that each student receives timely, informed, and personalized career guidance.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was the Federal Secretary for Education, Mr. Nadeem Mahbub, who was warmly received by the lead of the Career Counseling Program, alongside the Director General FDE and Director Academics Ms. Riffat Jabeen. Their presence underscored the government’s support for structured and system-driven career counseling initiatives across public sector institutions.
Among the distinguished guests were former Federal Secretary Mr. Abu Ahmed Akif and former Federal Secretary Dr. Zafar Qadir, whose participation added further significance to the event. The seminar was attended by hundreds of college students and faculty members, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and engagement. The Principal of IMCG F-6/2, Professor Aalia Durrani, formally welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of making informed academic and career decisions at the intermediate level.
During the seminar, Ms. Khansa Almas Khan, Managing Director of Eduvision, delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining the framework of a two-year career counseling program designed to benefit students across Islamabad. The initiative aims to reach learners from 250 educational institutions and impact hundreds of thousands of young individuals through structured assessments, awareness sessions, and guided mentorship.
The event concluded with an interactive counseling session in which students were introduced to diverse career pathways, higher education options, and emerging professional opportunities. The students’ thoughtful questions and active participation reflected a clear demand for direction and clarity in shaping their futures.
