School Education Minister Dr. Murad Raas had a heated debate on the closure of schools in the cabinet committee meeting. The Cabinet Committee on Anti-Corona discussed the closure of schools. The education minister was of the view that schools are the only place where SOPs are being implemented properly. He said that smart lockdown is a better option rather than closing all schools. The Cabinet Committee also commented on the closure of schools and the ban on children leaving the house unnecessarily.
The Cabinet Committee on Anti-Corona, headed by the provincial law minister, met at the Chief Minister's House to discuss the closure of schools. In the meeting, the provincial education minister Dr. Murad Rass just raised the point of banning children from going out. Murad Rass said that if schools are to be closed then the government should also ban children from going to shopping malls and parks. ۔
Sources said that Dr. Murad Ross has said in the meeting that on the one hand the school is closed and on the other hand the children go out for sightseeing. Dr. Murad Rass also said that what is the use of closing the school when the children go to the parks and shopping malls. According to sources, the provincial law minister Raja Basharat appreciated Dr. Murad Rass's suggestion asked to present the same at the next NCOC meeting.
