NUMS announces Centralized admissions for Private Medical Colleges for session 2022. Applicants having foreign qualifications, such as O/A Level, etc. shall have to upload the equivalence certificate issued by IBCC, at the time of submission of the online application, otherwise, their application shall be rejected.
Applications once submitted shall be considered final. Applications that are incomplete in any way shall be rejected. The online admission portal shall start on November 21 and the last date to apply for NUMS private medical colleges admission is December 14, 2022. Applications shall be submitted through the online portal only. No hard copies are acceptable. No application shall be accepted after the last date of submission.

Selection of Choices by the Applicants:-
The online admission portal will list all affiliated and attached medical/ dental colleges for selection by the applicants.
Applicants are advised to be careful in selecting medical and dental colleges, as per their choice. Applicants will be offered admission in MBBS /BDS in respective Medical/Dental colleges, on merit only.

NUMS Eligibility Criteria for Private Medical Colleges Admission 2022
- As per PMC Medical and Dental Undergraduate Education (Admission, Curriculum, and Conduct) Regulations 2022-23, for admission to a private college, no distinction shall be made in terms of merit and criteria between a Pakistani, overseas Pakistani, or foreign student which means that there is no special quota for foreign students in private colleges and the foreign candidate must compete on the same merit as a local candidate.
- All Pakistanis having valid citizenship (Including citizens of AJK and Gilgit Baltistan) can apply for admission in all above-mentioned colleges on open merit seats.
- Minimum 60% aggregate marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent having a minimum of twelve years of education.
- Passing the MDCAT for NUMS with a Minimum of 55% marks for admission in the MBBS program and 45% for the BDS program.
