Pakistani universities improving international ranking:

The Chairperson of Higher Education Commission (HEC) Dr Mukhtar Ahmed said that the local educational institutes of Pakistan are improving their ranking continuously even though we haven’ the best educational institutes in the world. He said in a meeting with National Assembly Standing Committee on Federal Education and Professional Training. HEC is taking steps to improve the educational standards in the country.




He stated that there are two types of ranking of educational institutions, global rankings and Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). In the global rankings, National University of Science and Technology (NUST) is ranked among the top 500 universities around the world while in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) university rankings for Asia, Pakistan is improving gradually.
