The Punjab College Teaching Interns (CTI) Induction 2026 process has started, with candidates being asked to complete or update their profiles on the official CTI portal before moving to the next stage.
The Directorate of Public Instruction (DPI) Punjab Colleges has advised aspiring CTI candidates to complete their profiles at cti-hep.punjab.gov.pk. Completing the profile is necessary before candidates can proceed to the next phase of the induction process.
According to the announced eligibility criteria, candidates applying for Graduate Colleges (BS Colleges) should hold an MS, MPhil, or PhD in the relevant subject. However, if no candidate with these qualifications applies, candidates with MA or MSc may also be considered.
For other colleges, including community colleges, candidates must have a Master’s degree or BS (four-year degree program) with at least a second division in the relevant subject.
CTI Merit Criteria
The selection process will be based on a 100-mark merit formula:
- Educational Qualification: 85 marks
- Performance as CTI during 2025-26: 5 marks
- Local Candidate: 5 marks
- Interview: 5 marks
The maximum age limit for candidates is 40 years, calculated according to the relevant recruitment campaign.
The department has also clarified that the transfer of a CTI post will be subject to the specific college, meaning placements will remain college-specific.
Candidates interested in the CTI Induction 2026 are advised to complete their online profiles as early as possible and keep their information and qualifications updated on the portal.
