The Sindh government has launched 30,000 Google Career Certificate Scholarships for students from 30 universities across the province. This initiative aims to teach young people important digital skills and improve their job opportunities in the tech industry.
At the launch event, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that investing in youth through education and skill development is key to a better future. He explained that the scholarships will train students in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), and other modern fields, helping them succeed in the digital world.
Sindh’s IT Secretary called the Google Career Certificates Program a “game-changer” for young professionals. He said it will help students gain the right skills to find jobs in the tech industry and prepare them for real-world challenges.
Sindh’s Education Minister also supported the program, saying it will create a strong talent pool and boost Pakistan’s digital economy. He added that learning digital skills will give students more job opportunities worldwide and strengthen the country's IT sector.
