A private school teacher painted a student’s face with black ink and humiliated her for speaking Urdu instead of English. The incident took place in a private school in Karachi. The private school is located in block J of North Nazimabad, Karachi.
According to the details, the student was speaking to her peers in Urdu instead of English and the teacher heard it. The teacher in question asked other children to make fun of the female student for not speaking in English.
To add insult to injury, when the victim’s father contacted the school’s administration, they refused to cooperate on the matter.
According to details, the father of the victim posted a video on Twitter, claiming that the teachers of a private school in North Nazimabad have painted his child’s face black for speaking Urdu in the school.
The victim’s father claimed, the administration refused to take any action on the incident despite his complaint. After the video went viral on social media, the Directorate of Private Schools has taken action in this regard, constituting a five-member committee.
Sources said that the constituted committee would visit the school and take statements from the principal, teachers, and parents of the affected student. A report will be submitted within three days after completing the investigation.
