The Punjab government has opened applications for 2,000 positions under the Chief Minister IT Internship Program, giving fresh IT graduates an opportunity to gain practical industry experience while receiving a monthly stipend of Rs. 50,000.
The four-month program is being offered through the Punjab government’s Work for Punjab initiative in partnership with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).
Selected candidates will work with participating organizations and gain hands-on experience in professional IT environments. The program is aimed at helping young graduates strengthen their technical skills, understand workplace requirements and improve their chances of securing employment.

Who Can Apply?
The program is open to male and female graduates holding a valid CNIC and Punjab domicile.
Applicants must have completed at least 16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology or a relevant field. Eligible disciplines include Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Information Security, Data Science, Graphic Designing, Multimedia, Animation, Telecom and Networking, Information Systems, Remote Sensing and GIS, among other related areas.
Candidates must have completed their degree within the past four years and should be unemployed when applying.
Rs. 50,000 Stipend
Successful interns will receive Rs. 50,000 per month for the four-month internship. However, stipend payments will depend on meeting attendance requirements and maintaining satisfactory performance.
Interns will also be required to submit monthly progress reports and meet the performance standards set by their supervisors. Degree credentials will be verified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
