All provinces have agreed to reopen educational institutions in September with strict SOPs. Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference held today. Mr. Shafqat Mahmood presided over the meeting. It was decided to reopen schools, colleges, and universities in the first week of September.
The suggestion will be forwarded to NCOC and the final decision will be announced by NCOC tomorrow. Education Ministers of all provinces, AJK and GB participated in the meeting. However, it is also decided to reconsider the decision on August 22 and if the situation of the coronavirus does not get any better, then the new schedule will be announced.
Educational institutions will also be allowed to conduct examinations. The conference decided to conduct two more meetings before September so that situation is completely judged. The suggestions will be forwarded to NCOC and the final decision will be announced Prime Minister.
